Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial on Essentials ($5.99/month after). You choose Essentials in the app; the trial starts with that App Store subscription. You won't be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, your subscription starts automatically and Apple charges your Apple ID. During the trial you get week 1 of your program (3 workouts) and the Vault; everything else unlocks when your paid plan starts.
Personalized ($24.99/month) has no free trial. It's charged when you subscribe. Upgrading to Personalized during an Essentials trial ends the trial and starts Personalized billing.
The trial is one per Apple ID, as decided by Apple, and one per device every 6 months. If you’ve already had a trial or subscribed before, the app shows Subscribe instead of a free trial.
How does Glute Shaper work? Do I need a subscription?
Glute Shaper is a $49.99 one-time purchase, not a subscription, and isn't part of the free trial. Week 1 (3 workouts) unlocks when you buy, and a new week unlocks every 7 days after that, through week 12. Released workouts stay yours. Your purchased workouts, profile and analytics stay available without a subscription; the FRLR Vault exercise library is included for your 12 weeks.
Level Up Glute Shaper workouts are coming soon. They aren’t on sale yet; we’ll announce them in the app when they’re ready.
All sales are final; refunds are only available through Apple (see below). To get a program back on a new iPhone, tap Restore purchases with the same Apple ID.
My trial ended and my profile is locked. Is my data gone?
No. When a free trial ends without a paid subscription, or a subscription lapses, your profile and analytics are locked but kept. Subscribe again and everything comes back. If you bought Glute Shaper or Level Up, your profile, analytics and purchased workouts stay open without a subscription.
Why do I have to accept a liability waiver?
Everyone, including members on a free trial, accepts a liability waiver in the app before their first workout. It confirms you understand that exercise carries some risk of injury, that First Rep Last Rep isn't medical advice, and that you'll check with your doctor if you have any health concerns. You can't start a workout until it's accepted. It's also part of our Terms of Use.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel through your Apple ID, not in the app:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap First Rep Last Rep, then Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial).
You can also go to the Apple subscriptions page. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period. If you don't see First Rep Last Rep there, you may have subscribed with a different Apple ID. See Apple's guide on how to cancel a subscription.
How do referrals work?
Open Settings → Invite friends to get your code and share it. When a friend who is new to First Rep Last Rep enters your code and makes their first payment, you get one free month of your plan. It counts if they subscribe at your level or higher, or buy Glute Shaper (Women’s or Men’s). Level Up doesn’t count, and a free trial counts once it turns into a paid month. Free months stack. Full rules are in the Terms.
Can I get a refund?
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the First Rep Last Rep charge.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Sign in to First Rep Last Rep with the same email you used before. Your subscription is linked to your account and should unlock automatically. If it doesn't, open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I switch between Essentials and Personalized?
Upgrade from inside the app (for example, from the “Want a plan made just for you?” card), or change plans in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → First Rep Last Rep. Upgrades usually start right away. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date.
When will my Personalized plan be ready?
After you submit the questionnaire, our trainers build your plan, usually within 2 business days. You'll see its status in the app, and you can keep training with the preset workouts while you wait.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your profile, workout logs, check-ins, badges and questionnaire, and can't be undone.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your iPhone's Subscriptions settings too (see above). If you can't get into the app, email us from your account's email address and we'll delete it for you.
I can't sign in.
Check that you're using the email address you signed up with. If you've forgotten your password or still can't get in, email us from that address and we'll help.
Can I change my program or level?
Yes, anytime. Open Plans and pick a different program or level. Your workout history stays with you.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. First Rep Last Rep is launching on iPhone first, and Android is coming later.
Something hurts during a workout. What should I do?
Stop the exercise. Try the easier variation, or skip it, and mention it in your weekly check-in so next week adjusts. If you have sharp pain, dizziness or chest symptoms, stop exercising and get medical help. First Rep Last Rep isn't medical advice.
