1. Who we are
First Rep Last Rep (“First Rep Last Rep,” “we,” “us”) makes the First Rep Last Rep fitness app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app or this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. What we collect
We only collect information you give us in the app or that the app creates as you use it.
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account | Your email address and password (stored by our authentication provider in hashed form; we can't see it) and the first name you give us. |
| Onboarding answers | Your goal, what's made it hard to stay consistent, where you'll train, how many days a week you can train, your chosen training days and reminder time, your preferred weight unit (lbs or kg), and the program and level you pick. |
| Personalized questionnaire (Personalized members) | Your goals, training experience, injuries, limitations and any health notes you write, the equipment you have, your schedule and session length, and exercises you like or dislike. |
| Liability waiver | Your signed liability waiver: the version and exact text you signed, your typed full legal name, your initials, your finger-drawn signature (saved as an image), your confirmation that you're 18 or older, the date and time, and your app version and device type. It's stored with your account, visible only to you and our admins, can't be edited, and is kept until your account is deleted. |
| Workout activity | Workouts you start and finish, the weight, reps and sets you log (including edits), how hard a workout felt (an optional 1–10 effort rating), how a workout felt, notes, and optional cardio you log after a workout (type, minutes and average heart rate). If you enter your age for the heart-rate zone chart, we save it to your profile and use it only to estimate your heart-rate zones (220 minus your age). We use these to calculate your profile analytics: consistency rate, streaks, volume, estimated one-rep maximums, personal records and working sets per muscle. |
| Body measurements (optional) | If you choose to add them: body weight and tape measurements (waist, hips, thighs, arms, chest) with the date, and any goals you set for them. |
| Progress photos (optional) | If you choose to add them: photos you take or pick, with the date and pose. Signed in, they're stored in a private storage area that only you can open (shown to you through short-lived links); without an account they stay on your device. We never use them for advertising or anything other than showing them to you. |
| Recovery check-ins (optional) | If you choose to log them: hours of sleep, soreness, fatigue, resting heart rate and effort. |
| Apple Health (optional, iPhone) | Only if you turn it on, and only the types you pick on iOS's permission screen. We may read: steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, body weight, body fat percentage, sleep, active energy, workouts recorded by your Apple Watch or other apps (type, duration, distance, energy), and, if you choose, dietary energy and protein. We may write: the workouts you complete in the app (as Strength Training, with duration and energy if available) and the body weight you log. We use this only inside the app: to fill in your optional cardio step and show your heart-rate zone, to fill in body progress and recovery, and to show a summary on your profile. The data you read stays on your iPhone. If you turn on Share a daily summary with my coach, we store a daily summary (steps, resting heart rate, sleep time, active energy, weight and body fat, and cardio totals) so our trainers can see it; turning sharing off deletes that stored summary. You can disconnect in the app at any time and revoke access in the Health app (Sharing → Apps). |
| Goals | Optional milestones you set, such as a number of workouts, a lift target, a consistency target or a measurement target. |
| Check-ins and progress | Daily check-ins (whether you committed to train or took a rest day, and your mood), weekly check-in answers (such as how hard the week felt and whether anything hurt), streaks and badges earned. |
| Personalized workouts | The workouts our trainers send you, their focus tags (such as an area to work on, an injury to work around or a sport), and your questionnaire status. |
| How you found the app (ad attribution) | When the app is first opened on an iPhone, it asks Apple (through Apple's AdServices framework) whether the install came from an Apple Search Ads ad. If it did, Apple tells us the campaign, ad group and keyword IDs, the country or region and the date of the ad tap; otherwise we record the install as organic, or as a referral if you used a referral code. We store this with a random install ID created by the app and, once you have an account, on your account, so we can see which ads lead to trials, subscriptions and Glute Shaper purchases. We also pass the same campaign and keyword to RevenueCat with your purchases. This does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and doesn't require the iOS tracking prompt. It contains no health or workout information. |
| Subscription and purchases | Your subscription tier, trial and renewal status, expiration date, one-time program purchases (Glute Shaper, Level Up) with their purchase date and refund status, and which store you bought through, provided by Apple through our subscription provider, RevenueCat. Your account ID is used to link your purchase to your account. We never receive your card or payment details; Apple handles payment. |
| Free-trial device check | When a free trial starts, a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your device’s app identifier, and on iPhone an Apple DeviceCheck token, so each device gets one free trial every 6 months. We never store the raw identifier, and the hashed record is kept when you delete your account so the limit still applies. Used only to prevent trial abuse. |
| Technical data | Like most online services, our providers automatically record basic technical information when the app connects to them, such as IP address, device and operating-system type, app version, and timestamps, for security and to keep the service working. |
We don't collect your location or contacts, we read Apple Health only if you connect it (and only the types you allow), and the app doesn't include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. The only marketing data we keep is the ad attribution described above (which Apple Search Ads campaign and keyword, if any, led to your install).
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To recommend a program, show your workouts, save your logs, and calculate streaks, badges and weekly adjustments.
- To show your member profile and analytics, including rule-based coaching tips computed from your own logs. These tips are general fitness information, not medical advice, and we don't estimate muscle growth, body fat or health from them.
- For Personalized members: so our trainers can review your questionnaire and build and update a plan for you.
- To check whether you have an active subscription or trial and unlock the right features.
- To answer your support requests and send essential service messages (for example, account confirmation emails).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, fix problems and comply with the law.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Health information
Some of what you share, like injuries, limitations, pain reported in a check-in, notes about a medical condition, body measurements, progress photos and recovery check-ins (sleep, soreness, fatigue, resting heart rate), may be considered health information. It's always optional. We use it only to give you safer workouts and, for Personalized members, to build your plan. Injury and questionnaire details are visible only to you and to the trainers who build plans. Body measurements and recovery check-ins are visible only to you unless you turn on Share body & recovery with trainers, and each progress photo is visible only to you unless you share that photo with our trainers. You can turn sharing off at any time. We never sell it or use it for advertising. By submitting it, you consent to us using it for these purposes, and you can delete it at any time by deleting your account.
Apple Health (HealthKit). Information we get from Apple Health is used only to provide the fitness features described above. It is never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with third parties or data brokers, and never used to make decisions about eligibility, credit, insurance or employment. We don't store it on our servers unless you turn on coach sharing, and then only a daily summary that our trainers can see. We don't use it for any purpose you haven't turned on, and you can stop it at any time by disconnecting in the app or in the Health app.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run First Rep Last Rep, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
- Supabase: our backend for sign-in, database, file storage and server functions. Your account and app data are stored there.
- RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and receives your account ID and purchase information from Apple, plus the Apple Search Ads campaign and keyword (if any) that led to your install, so purchases can be tied to the ad. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Apple: processes your payments and subscriptions under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your payment details.
- Apple: to check ad attribution, the app sends Apple a one-time attribution token from your iPhone and Apple returns the Search Ads campaign details described above. See Apple Search Ads & Privacy.
- Our trainers: the people who build Personalized plans can see the questionnaire answers, training history and workout analytics needed to do that. They see your body measurements, recovery check-ins, progress photos and Apple Health summary only if you choose to share them.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, safety or property of our members or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to protect your information.
6. No selling, no ad tracking
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. Apple Search Ads attribution only tells us which of our own ads (campaign and keyword) led to an install; it doesn't use the advertising identifier, and Apple provides it without combining your data with other companies' data. To stop Apple from using your App Store activity for ads, turn off Personalized Ads in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open, including after a trial or subscription ends (your profile and analytics are locked, not deleted, so they come back if you subscribe again). When you delete your account, your account and app data are permanently deleted from our database. Server backups and logs kept by our providers roll off on their own schedule, usually within a few weeks. Subscription purchase records may be kept by Apple and RevenueCat as required for billing, tax and fraud prevention. You can ask us to request deletion of your RevenueCat record by emailing us.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time: go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your profile, workout logs, check-ins, badges, questionnaire answers, personalized plans, body measurements, recovery check-ins, goals and progress photos (including the photo files), and it can't be undone. You can also delete any single measurement, check-in or photo from the Body progress and Health & recovery screens.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. If you can't access the app, email admin@firstreplastrep.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
9. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit most of your information in the app, export a copy of your data from Profile → Settings → Export my data, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, email admin@firstreplastrep.com. We'll verify that the request comes from the account holder and respond within the time required by law. You may also use an authorized agent where the law allows.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and our database uses row-level security so each member can only access their own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and let us know right away if you think your account has been compromised.
11. Children
First Rep Last Rep is for adults 18 and older only. It isn't directed to children or teens, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Every member confirms they're 18 or older when creating an account and when signing the waiver. If you believe someone under 18 has given us personal information, email admin@firstreplastrep.com and we'll close the account and delete it.
12. Where data is stored
We're based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States by us and our service providers.
13. This website
firstreplastrep.com is a simple informational site. It doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply.
14. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
